Location & Amenities
Fremont Canyon Campground is at the southern end of Lakeshore Drive. This area of Alcova Reservoir is noted for its red rock and is also located at the mouth of the Canyon area. MapA beautiful ADA accessible site is nestled in the red rock overlooking the lake and canyon area. Hiking trails abound in the area overlooking the canyon. Fishing from shore is popular in this area.
The boat ramps at this campground also help to make it a popular boating area. Scrub cedar with rock outcroppings are prevalent. There is not any water or other service available at this campground.

All four-wheelers (ATVs and MPVs) must stay on paved or gravel roads. Driving four-wheelers on the shoreline or off-road is not allowed at Alcova Reservoir
Camping fees are $10 per night and can be paid at the fee station located at the entrance to the campground area.
Currently none of the Wyoming reservoirs contain invasive mussels. Please make sure your boat and trailer are clean before entering Wyoming waters.

All reservations for shelters and Alcova RV full-service sites must be made through the Parks office by calling (307) 235-9325.
Alcohol permits costs $50 per day
Camping sites are open / non-reservable and cost $10 per day or 10-coupon booklet for $75
Full-service RV sites are $35 a day
Shelters may be reserved from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm for a fee of $50 per day
Boat docks are $15 per day12 full-service RV sites
