Profile
Black Beach can be a quiet location because it has defined camping sites with a limited number of sites available. There are two boat ramps located at this campground. Almost all campsites have a picnic shelter. There are few, if any, areas available for swimming. Fishing and boating are the primary uses. Restrooms are available. No water or utilities are available.
A group shelter is available for rent / reservation. New ADA facilities make this area popular for those with disabilities or limited mobility. An ADA accessible fishing pier is also located at Black Beach. For information on how to rent the large group shelter, please visit Rentals or call 307-235-9311.
All four-wheelers (ATVs, MPVs) must stay on paved or gravel roads. Driving a four-wheeler on the shoreline or off-road is not allowed at Alcova Reservoir.
Camping fees are $10 per night and can be paid at the fee station located at the entrance to the campground area.
Currently none of the Wyoming reservoirs contain invasive mussels. Please make sure your boat and trailer are clean before entering Wyoming waters.
