A boat ramp, 12 campsites, and picnic facilities make Park Prairie a comfortable base for recreation at Lake Fayette, a 2,000-acre cooling lake for the Fayette Power Project. Hike or bike along the lake on a three-mile multi-use trail connecting Park Prairie and Oak Thicket Park.
Ground fires are prohibited. Restrooms are available for park visitors; there are no shower facilities.
Boaters on Lake Fayette and other lakes are required to drain their boats after use to help prevent the spread of zebra mussels. Learn more.

Group Area/Screened Shelter This group camping area will accommodate up to 24 people and is ideal for reunions and meetings. It includes a screened shelter (sleeps four) with electricity, three campsites, picnic tables, and a grill.
