Catch a trophy bass, take a swim or just relax in a furnished cabin at Oak Thicket Park. The park on 2,000-acre Fayette Lake also has RV and tent campsites, screened shelters, a large pavilion, picnic facilities, hiking trails, a sandy beach, a playground, an interpretive nature exhibit and a boat ramp. Hike or bike along the lake on a three-mile multi-use trail connecting Park Prairie and Oak Thicket Park.

Boaters on Lake Fayette and other lakes are required to drain their boats after use to help prevent the spread of zebra mussels. Learn more.

Campsites All campsites accommodate both RV and tent campers and include both water and electric (30/50 amp) hookups.General camping: 20 campsites, water and electric (Four of these sites have 50 amp electric hookups for larger RV’s.)
Screened Shelters 6 Shelters are available and will sleep up to four in two hard beds. Each shelter has electricity, a ceiling fan, outside electric outlet and water spigot, a picnic table grill and campfire ring. There are restrooms and showers available for park guests.
Efficiency Cabins 4 Efficiencies sleeping up to four people, cabins have heat and A/C, bed and bath linens, satellite TV, coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave and bathrooms. There are picnic tables, grills and campfire rings outside.
Two-Bedroom Cabins 2 Two-bedroom cabins sleeping up to six people, these cabins have heat and A/C, bed and bath linens, and satellite TV and bathrooms. They include their own kitchenettes for cooking indoors and each are stocked with coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave. There are picnic tables, grills and campfire rings located outside.
Bunkhouse Cabins 2 Bunkhouse cabins are available, sleeping up to fourteen people each. These cabins have heat and A/C, bed and bath linens, satellite TV and bathrooms. coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave and bathrooms. They include their own kitchenettes for cooking indoors and each are stocked with coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave. There are picnic tables, grills and campfire rings located outside.

Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA for any organized group activity on LCRA land involving 20 or more individuals.Reservations
Make reservations online at www.lcra.org/reserve for a $6 transaction fee per site, or call toll-free 855-392-7638 for a $7.50 transaction fee per site. Reservations must be made more than 48 hours in advance of arrival. Facilities get booked quickly during spring and fall, and over holidays, so make reservations early to guarantee a site. To check availability within 48 hours of your arrival, call the park directly. -
