Drop your anchor here, we’ve been a family camping resort on West Michigan’s Gold Coast since 1913. We offer the perfect blend of old fashioned hospitality and the most modern camping facilities. Located on a narrow peninsula between Bass Lake and Lake Michigan we are a beach resort. We have a shallow, safe, sandy private beach on Bass Lake and it is only a short, ten minute walk to a world class, off the beaten path, beautiful, white sugar sand, public beach on Lake Michigan. Whispering Surf is the ideal place for you and your family to spend your summer outing.

Camp at our off-the-beaten-path resort offering prinitive tent camping and the latest modern RV sites with full hook-ups, 20/30/50 electric, cable tv and wi-fi. An area tucked away in the north woods. The camping area is forested with white pine and oak and is nestled between the clear blue waters of Bass Lake and the white “singing sands” of Lake Michigan. Enjoy our clean, safe, sandy private brach on Bass Lake, or if Lake Michigan’s moody waters intrigue you; swim, relax and enjoy one of the world’s finest beaches. A white, sugar sand beach like found no where else in the world, listen to the music of the sand as you walk across it.
