City of Houghton RV Park

The City RV Park is a 22 unit park open from May through October. It is located next to the Kestner Waterfront Park, at the western end of the 4 mile paved, non-motorized, waterfront trail, and a half mile from Downtown Houghton.

Amenities include: paved site, water, 20-30-50 amp electric service, sewer connection, Wi-Fi, a covered patio with picnic table, park bench, BBQ grill, and fire ring.

The Kestner Waterfront Park consists of a sandy bathing beach, pavilion, picnic tables, fishing piers, boat launch, and the Chutes and Ladders playground.

We do not accept tents or pop-up campers as there are no bathroom facilities.

The RV Park is open from May 16th to October 11th annually.

Reservations:

Reservations for the 2016 season will be taken beginning on Monday, May 16, 2016 starting at 9:00 a.m. by the RV Park Hosts.

All deposits are non-refundable
All payments for stays in excess of one night are non-refundable
Holiday and special events require a minimum three night stay
You can request a specific site, but no sites are guaranteed
Rates:

Daily rate is $35 which includes 2 adults
Monthly rate is $900 which includes 2 adults
There is a $3 charge for each additional adult
No charge for children
Miscellaneous:

Check-out time is noon. Check in time is 1:00 (EST)
Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am
Pets are allowed; however, dogs must be leashed, their messes cleaned up, and cannot be left to bark and annoy others
You cannot bring your own firewood into the park.
Parking on the lawn:
– Motor homes $15 per night
– Cars & trailers $5 per night
– Boats $10 per night
Washing vehicles on site is allowed with a fee of $10 for an RV and $5 for a car
All sewer hookups must be threaded, air tight connections
RV repairs at the park must be approved by the Park Host
Generators are not permitted to be run at the park
