If hiking and rock hunting is what you like we have all the Llano river bed that is mostly solid granite bedrock uplifted with pools and streams of crystal clear unpolluted waters all meandering down the river bed of granite slabs, boulders, deep holes and granite sand beach areas, Fishing ranges from cat fishing the deep holes to fly fishing for trout or bass and the river is open to the public for swimming, fishing and panning for gold. It may seem a bit crowded in the summer months but it is an exciting place that is ever changing from one moment to the next. Alittle rain can give the river a brand new look.
